Membership 2017/2018 

A new join and renew process You may be aware that legislation regarding data protection is about to change. A new regulation called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is now in place and set to become adopted by UK Law. The changes impact many of the ways organisations work and their processes related to personal data, including membership data. When you join Rugby Trampolining Club you also become a member of British Gymnastics. 

In the past we have sent members’ details such as names, ages and addresses to British Gymnastics to allow them to activate membership benefits such as insurance for your child or children and to send out their membership pack. Due to the change in the legislation we will no longer be able to do this. FROM 1ST OCTOBER 2017 we are asking all parents or guardians to complete their child’s membership directly on the British Gymnastics website and pay them the fee of £17. This process creates your vital insurance cover and until the registration process is completed on the website, you will NOT be able to attend our classes. 

British Gymnastics will instantly notify us once you have completed your registration. The registration system on the British Gymnastics website will be quick and easy to use and it will be possible to complete the process for multiple members at the same time. British Gymnastics will activate membership and insurance cover immediately as well as sending your membership confirmation and membership benefits information by both post and email. If you are a member of another British Gymnastics registered club, you will be considered a British Gymnastics member at both clubs. You will only need to register once, simply show us confirmation of your membership by showing your confirmation email or your digital membership card, if you downloaded it.
